There is no single best influencer marketing platform. The right one depends on your budget and on the job you need done. We grouped the main tools into four use cases and picked a winner and runners-up for each. Yes, we make Story Story, so we have been upfront about where other tools do better.
Prices and features come from each vendor’s public website and third-party reviews, as of September 2026. They can change, so check with each vendor before you buy.
Our picks at a glance
- Best for budget: Story Story, from €49/month. Runner-up: Heepsy.
- Best for discovery: Modash. Best for nano creators: Story Story.
- Best for tracking: Story Story, for automatic Stories, Reels and TikTok archiving. Runner-up: Influencity.
- Best for CRM: Upfluence for e-commerce. Runners-up: Aspire and Influencity.
- Best for enterprise: CreatorIQ and Traackr.
Best for budget: Story Story
Winner: Story Story. Monthly plans start at €49, with no annual contract and a 5-day free trial without a credit card. For that price you get influencer discovery, competitor monitoring, automatic Stories archiving and campaign dashboards, which usually means paying for two or three tools.
Runner-up: Heepsy. A free plan and paid plans from $89/month (or $69 billed yearly) make it the cheapest way to find and email creators, though it does not track content.
Watch out for: annual contracts. Kolsquare, Traackr, Upfluence, Aspire and CreatorIQ all require a yearly commitment, from about €6,000 to well over $25,000 per year.
Best for discovery: Modash
Winner: Modash. A very large self-serve database across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, with detailed audience filters and email unlocks. Plans start at $199/month.
Best for nano creators: Story Story. Instead of a static database, Story Story runs a real-time search from creators you already like and surfaces profiles with only a few hundred followers. You see their content as you search, which makes it faster to judge the fit.
Also good: HypeAuditor to vet audience quality and spot fake followers before you commit.
Best for tracking: Story Story
Winner: Story Story. Add any public Instagram or TikTok account, whether a creator, a competitor or an event, and every Story, Reel, post and TikTok is saved automatically. Stories disappear after 24 hours; with Story Story they stay searchable for up to 36 months. Filter by mentions and hashtags to see only the content about your brand or your clients, and get notified when tracked accounts post.
Runner-up: Influencity. Its monitoring module follows content by mentions and hashtags, as part of a broader all-in-one suite.
For sales tracking: Upfluence connects to Shopify and WooCommerce to follow affiliate links and discount codes.
Best for CRM: Upfluence
Winner: Upfluence. Its CRM matches creators with your customer database, and integrations with Shopify and WooCommerce tie relationships to sales. Pricing is on quote with a 12-month minimum.
Runners-up: Aspire for product seeding and relationship management in DTC brands, and Influencity for a CRM inside a more affordable all-in-one tool with a 7-day trial.
Where Story Story fits: Story Story is not a full CRM. It covers shortlists, shared creator lists and campaign tracking for your team, which is enough for many small teams.

- Pick your main job. Finding creators, tracking content, managing relationships or proving sales each point to a different winner.
- Try before you buy. Use the free trials to test the tool on a real campaign before you commit.
